The George and Fay Young Foundation was founded as a charitable trust in 1985 and incorporated in 1993.
Long-time Dallasites, George and Fay Young believed strongly in giving back to the community which had given so much to each of them. The Youngs did not seek notoriety with their giving. They felt it important to help raise money for organizations, in addition to the gifts they gave.
Their legacy is carried on by second and third generation family members working at the Foundation. As the assets have grown, we continue to do our best to honor the memory of George and Fay Young, giving to many of the same types of organizations they supported while in turn expanding our scope to reach more people in today's ever-changing community.
