How to Apply

  

To Apply Online: The George and Fay Young Foundation, Inc. encourage organizations to apply for Grant funding online. Please click the link below to create an Organization profile. For returning Organizations, please follow the link below to manage your profile and/or application.


To Apply Via Standard Mail: Applications should be mailed to The George and Fay Young Foundation, Inc., 14850 Montfort Drive, Suite 269, Dallas, TX 75254 and must include the following:

  • A Grant Proposal Summary (click here to download form) or (click here to fillout form and print)
  • A summary of the organizations history and description of existing services. (If applicable, please include website address, mission statement, number of staff members and volunteers, current population served, any accomplishments, etc.)
  • An explanation of the proposed project stating the need for the program, its components and logistics, as well as the demographic expected to benefit.
  • The specific dollar amount requested and the date payment is preferred.
  • A list of all other possible donors asked for financial support of the program and commitments to date.
  • The project budget, including expenses and any income.
  • A description of how the project will be supported upon completion of the grant period.
  • An outline of how the program will be evaluated. (Stating goals and when they are to be met, ways the progress and success of the program will be measured.)
  • Board of Directors list.
  • The Organization's operating budget, including financial statements from the past 3 years.
  • A copy of the most recent letter from the Internal Revenue Service verifying tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and classification as not a private foundation.
  • A copy of the Organization’s most recent IRS Form 990.
